Skiing

If you thought skiing was just possible in Switzerland you better think again. The Apple Home brings to you this sport right next door. Just a drive of around 16 kms (20 mns) from The Apple Home, we are ready to provide you with this opportunity to try out skiing in fresh snow, if you are lucky you could also experience snowfall while you try out this adventure sport. The best part is don’t bother if you do not have a pair of skies or boots we will arrange everything you need off course on minimum chargeable basis.

Trekking

For the nature lovers, mountain walks are just what they need to rejuvenate from their mechanical system. The Apple Home organizes various trekking options for individuals as well groups. The options vary from hard to medium range tracks with different time specifications. One of the most recommended treks is a five km stretch walk up the mountain through deep coniferous forests that include to a summit of the highest spots (3,500mts aprox) in the region. Every route however has been crafted for all to make the trek a breathtaking experience.

Bonfires & Barbeque

Every evening just outside the log hut, is a circular structure which ones were used to grind grains in traditional method by a pair of bullocks. The structure now forms an integral part of the evening whereby friends can sit around a fire - place while enjoying delicious hot snack and sway to local or customized music. For the carnivores wanting to try out their own style of barbeques, the chef is ready to provide the basic ingredients for a perfect charcoal dinner. Veggie lovers too can try out some roasted greens

Mountain Biking

Another treat that would provide you with a break from painstaking drives in busy city roads. We promise it is an experience to cycle round the mountain curves. Not only your body would feel rejuvenated but you could also catch a glimpse of some local village life while triggering some memorable shots to carry back home. A stretch of 10 kms is worth a try. One again The Apple Home provides you with these specialized terrain bikes on chargeable basis.

Water Activities

Just a 30 minute drive from The Apple Home takes one to an altogether different landscape where one finds himself by the crystal flowing Sutlej. By the river front one can indulge in a choice of water activities like river rafting, canoeing, finishing, body surfing or even relax by dipping ones feet in the icy waters of Sutlej.

Temples

Around Narkanda, lie many beautiful temples amidst the terraced villages. Explore these hidden gems and spend a leisurely afternoon meeting the villagers, who welcome you with a lovely smile.
